As chemical raw material, isopropanol can be used in producing acetone, hydrogen peroxide, MIBK, Dimethyl-4-heptanone, isopropamide, isopropyl ether, and etc. In fine chemical industry, it can be used in producing iso-Propyl nitrate, tri-isopropyl phosphite, aluminium isopropoxide, medicines and pesticides. This product can also be used as solvent of cellulose nitrate, rubber, coating, shell-lac, and alkaloid; in producing coating, ink, extractant, and etc.
