Ethylene glycol is mainly used in producing polyester, polyester resin, hygroscopic agent, plasticizer, surfactant, synthetic fiber, cosmetics and explosive. It can also be used as solvent of dyestuffs and ink.
Ethylene glycol monomethyl ether products can be used as solvent and diluent of printing ink, industrial cleaning agent, coating, copper-clad plate, printing and dyeing; as raw material for producing pesticide intermediates, pharmaceutical intermediates, synthetic brake fluids and other chemical products.
